Incident: Assault II Case: 07N-02495
Location: SW Bay and SW 10th Streets

Date/Time: 101007 @ 0047 hours

Victim: Lincoln City resident

Details: On 101007, at about 0047 hours, Newport Police were called to a local motel regarding an assault that had occurred about 30 minutes earlier near the bus depot located on SW 10th and Bay Streets. Officers contacted an adult male Lincoln City resident who was suffering from several severe lacerations to his face, mouth and back of his head, as well as less serious injuries to his ribs, shoulders and hands. The victim reported that he had been attacked by two male subjects who were unknown to him and without provocation. The victim was treated on scene by members of the Newport Fire Department and Pacific West Ambulance. The victim was transported to SPCH, where he received numerous sutures to close open lacerations on his face, head and inside of his mouth.

The victim provided the following suspect descriptions:

#1/ White/male/adult, about 20-25 years of age who was about 5'8"-10" tall who was wearing dark colored clothes

#2/ White/male/adult, about 20-25 years of age who was about 6' tall, 200 lbs. and blonde hair who was wearing a light colored coat
