Details:                  Newport Police Sergeant Tom Simpson was invited by Yaquina View Elementary School Teacher Sarah Parker to talk to her class about making positive “choices” in life.  Sergeant Simpson spent an hour with the class talking about making the right choices regarding subjects like stealing, drug and alcohol use, bullying and friendships.

 

The Newport Police Department appreciates these opportunities to provide education to our local children regarding a variety of topics to help foster positive behavior in our community.
